Stillwater senior Nick Goman was recently selected as an Adirondack Area School Boards (AASBA) Community Service Award winner. He was one of 27 area seniors nominated by AASBA member school districts for their outstanding community service. All of the students were honored at a dinner on Thursday, May 9.

Nick is an active member of the community and was nominated by Stillwater Central School District. He has volunteered for the American Legion Post 490, Johnsonville Rod and Gun Club, the Stillwater Community Center and the Saratoga National Cemetery.

He is also a member of the Boy Scouts of America and The Order of the Arrow, the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America.

All students who were honored received a $300 scholarship from AASBA. Congratulations, Nick!
