The safety and security of our students and adults is of paramount importance to the Stillwater Central School District. We are committed to maintaining a secure campus that’s free of hazards to ensure learning thrives and our buildings remain welcoming places for the community to gather.
Along with this commitment, the district’s Health and Safety Committee has created a digital “suggestion box” for the SCSD community to submit their safety concerns and suggestions, which will officially launch on Monday, March 11. The district clerk receives the submissions and reviews responses each Monday; that information is then passed along to SCSD administrators and the Health and Safety Committee for analysis, followed by further discussion at a future Board of Education meeting.
It’s important to note that the digital suggestion box is for ongoing situations in SCSD and not for immediate danger or high-level concerns. Emergency services or an administrator should be contacted in these scenarios.
SCSD highly values feedback from our school community and we encourage anyone with a safety suggestion to utilize this new form of communication to share their concern(s). Families and community members should look for a ParentSquare message from the district on Monday, March 11 that will contain the link to the digital suggestion box.
