Stillwater Central School District, in conjunction with The Prevention Council, presents “Right Under Your Nose,” an interactive program about current substance use trends, on Wednesday, June 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
“Right Under Your Nose” is an interactive program for parents, grandparents, guardians and other concerned adults that will build understanding about the current substance use culture. The program begins at 5:30 p.m. with a Walk Through a Typical Bedroom, with numerous references to drug culture, containers, stashes, clothing: can you see what is right under your nose?
From 6-7 p.m., The Prevention Council’s Patty Kilgore, LMSW, will explain what is in the room and how to have discussions with youth about drug culture.
Registration is not necessary for this free event. For more information on The Prevention Council, visit https://preventioncouncil.org/about/.
