June is here and it’s one of the busiest months for the Stillwater Central School District. From moving up ceremonies to end of year festivities, there’s numerous opportunities to celebrate and support our students.
In addition, there are various final and Regents exams occurring throughout the month for middle and high school students. There will be midday bus runs to accommodate these exams. Please take a moment to review the important information below from each of our school buildings and the transportation schedule, to ensure all of our students end the year successfully.
Stillwater Elementary:
- Thursday, June 6: Grade 2 Patriotic Concert at 6:30 p.m. in the Auditorium
- Friday, June 7: Mission Day
- Friday, June 14: UPK Moving Up Ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Auditorium
- Monday, June 17: UPK Screening at the elementary school
- Tuesday, June 18: regular schedule, Grade 4 Field Trip to Bronx Zoo
- Wednesday, June 19: no school, Juneteenth
- Thursday, June 20: regular schedule
- Friday, June 21: 1:15 p.m. dismissal for all students (*Lunch will be served)
- Monday, June 24: Half Day/Last Day of School, 11:15 a.m. dismissal for all students, Grade 5 Moving Up Ceremony at 9:15 a.m. in the Auditorium
- Tuesday, June 25: no school for students
- Wednesday, June 26: no school for students
Stillwater Middle School:
- Wednesday, June 5: Checkpoint A speaking exam in French and Spanish (*Grade 8 only)
- Thursday, June 6: Checkpoint A speaking exam in French and Spanish (*Grade 8 only)
- Friday, June 7: Grade 8 semi-formal from 6:30-9 p.m. in the MS Cafeteria
- Wednesday, June 12: Grade 8 picnic at Saratoga State Park
- Friday, June 14: Living Environment Regents exam at 12 p.m. (*only eighth-graders in L.E. class)
- Tuesday, June 18: students dismissed at 11:15 a.m.
- Wednesday, June 19: no school, Juneteenth
- Thursday, June 20: Grade 7 field trip to Saratoga Battlefield, students dismissed at 11:15 a.m.
- Friday, June 21: Warrior Day & Last Day of School, 11:15 a.m. dismissal for all students
- Monday, June 24: Checkpoint A written exam from 8-11 a.m. (*Grade 8 only)
- Tuesday, June 25: Grade 8 Moving Up Ceremony at 8 a.m. in Auditorium

- Local final exams occur during class from June 10-17 in most classes
- Chromebook collection (and charger) will occur on Thursday, June 20 for all eighth-grade students. They will be issued a new device in September. Sixth and seventh-graders will keep their devices for use next year.
- A reminder to the parents of all eighth-grade students to please reference the letter emailed home on May 13 regarding the upcoming Moving-Up Ceremony. The deadline for submitting pictures is Thursday, June 20.
Stillwater High School:
- Wednesday, June 5: NHS Spring Induction at 6 p.m. in the Auditorium
- Friday, June 14: ELA Regents in A.M., Living Environment Regents in P.M.
- Monday, June 17: ELA 9 & 10 Local Final in A.M., Calculus Local Final P.M.
- Tuesday, June 18: US History & Government Regents in A.M., Global History & Geography in P.M.
- Wednesday, June 19: no school, Juneteenth
- Thursday, June 20: Earth Science Regents in A.M., Chemistry Regents in P.M.
- Friday, June 21: Geometry Regents in A.M., Graduation Rehearsal at 10 a.m. in the MS gym, students will receive their cap and gowns at this time.
