Congratulations to three of our girls indoor track and field athletes on being named to the Times Union All-Star teams:

First Team

Pole vault: Paige Brinsko, Senior

Paige was the only Section 2 pole vaulter to hit the 11′ mark this season. She finished seventh at states and won the state qualifier and Division IV title at sectionals.

Second Team

Long jump: Gianna Locci, Sophomore

Triple jump: Kelly Moran, Sophomore

Coach of the Year

Stillwater Indoor track and field Coach Shawn McClements was named Times Union’s Coach of the Year. Coach McClements led the Warriors to their first Section 2 title since 2014 with a narrow win over four-time Divison IV defending champion Greenwich.
