Position: 12-Month School Secretary (Provisional Appointment pending the results of the Civil Service Exam)

Skills: Good knowledge of office terminology, procedures and equipment. Must be organized and handle routine administrative details independently and attention to detail. Ability to to use office software programs including Google Docs and Google Sheets.

Ability to prepare and maintain program records and routine reports. Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, in addition to establishing and maintaining highly confidential information from various sources.

Qualifications: Associates degree or higher, and/or two (2) years of related clerical experience.

Salary: $32,428.11

Position: Agriculture Teacher (MS/HS) (10-Month)

Description: The Stillwater Central School District is accepting applications for an Agriculture Sciences Teacher. The successful candidate will work with administration and relevant stakeholders to develop a robust agriculture program to enhance student educational opportunities and align with one of our community’s strengths. Applicants must have either a CTE certification in Agricultural Education, or an equivalent CTE certification, or at least 3 years industry related work experience and the ability to obtain a Transitional B certification. Ideal candidates will have knowledge and experience developing and implementing an Agricultural program and demonstrated collaboration with Agri-businesses. Qualified candidates must submit a complete application on OLAS. A complete application will consist of a resume, a cover letter specific to this position, recommendations, and applicable certification. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled.

Salary: Per STA Agreement/commensurate with experience

Position: UPK Teaching Assistant (10-Month)

Description: The Stillwater Central School District is seeking a Teaching Assistant for our UPK program. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the classroom teacher in all aspects of the day to include small group work, structured play time and more. This position requires a Teaching Assistant certification.

Salary: $25,000 per STA Agreement

Start Date: Feb. 13, 2025.

Position: Lunch & Recess Monitor

Description: The Stillwater Elementary School is seeking an individual to supervise students in grades K-5 at lunch and recess. The ideal candidate will be dependable, patient and flexible. The position is from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day.

Salary: $16.06/hr. per CSEA Agreement

Procedure: Apply by Feb. 7, 2025.

Start Date: Immediately


Substitutes Are Needed

Do you have an interest in working with children in your own community and shaping tomorrow’s leaders today? Like other school districts, we are in need of filling key positions for grades K-12 so that we can maintain our high standards of education for our students. Throughout the year, our district seeks the following substitute positions (please note corresponding level of education):

  • Substitute Teachers, 4-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Teacher Assistant, 2-year degree or higher
  • Substitute Bus Drivers, CDL training provided, paid training after permit earned
  • Substitute Classroom Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Lunch Aides, HS diploma or equivalent
  • Substitute Recess Aides, HS diploma or equivalent

We have positions available for all levels of education, availability and area of interest. We will pay for the cost of mandatory fingerprinting associated with working in schools.
