Dear Stillwater community,

We have finally reached the start of the 2017-18 school year! The summer was very busy at the district office and there are plenty of new and exciting changes taking place this year.

Some of the changes you may have already been made aware of, but as we go throughout the year, it is my intent to share important information on these changes and how they impact you and our students.

As we kick off the year, I want to remind everyone of the important role that we all take in the lives of the children in this district and thank you for your efforts. We are teachers, parents, friends, family members. We are all role models. It takes a little bit from all of us to help our students succeed.

This year, our district theme is “Every student. Every day.” This means that every student is equally as important in the Stillwater Central School District and every day we will treat them as such.

We are all working together to make this year our best year yet and I hope that you will help make a difference!
