This year, Stillwater Central School District tax bills may arrive in mailboxes a few days after the usual date of September 1. The reason for this slight delay is due a delay at the state level in sending their necessary changes and updates to the assessors. Therefore, there was a delay in processing the tax bills. All tax bills were sent on Thursday, August 31.
So, what does this delay mean for district taxpayers? Other than receiving your bill a few days later than typical, there should be no other change.
