Congratulations to third grade teacher Shannon Tanner on being honored as a Loved Teacher by Nemer Chrysler Jeep & Dodge. A representative of the local auto dealership visited her home to present her with a cooler as one of four grand prize winners.

“They delivered it to my front door, thanked me for all I do as a teacher and wished me a Merry Christmas!” Tanner said. “What an awesome thing – it’s no secret the last two school years have been challenging. There is nothing better than going to a job I love every day – and for Nemer to take the time to say thank you and parents to nominate you because they think you deserve it – I truly am a lucky lady. Merry Christmas.”

“Ms. Tanner’s recognition is well deserved,” said Stillwater Elementary Principal Rebecca Toleman. “She goes above and beyond for her students. Thank you to Nemer for recognizing Ms. Tanner and other teachers.”

Tanner also received a We Love Our Teachers thermal cup and free Stewart’s coffee after being nominated for the award. Congratulations to our award-winning teacher, and thank you for all you do for our students.
