Stillwater ninth graders traded learning at their desks and labs on Oct. 14, 2021, for working at Saratoga National Cemetery, Saratoga Battlefield, Stillwater Community Center, Glen Hollow Park, Major Dickinson Park and the firehouse.

During Freshmen Give Back Day, the students and their teachers performed acts of community service, including clearing brush, raking, spreading mulch, painting and other tasks.

The annual event promotes volunteerism and giving back among freshmen as they begin their high school careers.
