Congressman Paul Tonko visited Stillwater Elementary on Tuesday, Oct. 23. He spoke to fourth graders about his job, as well as the Library of Congress. Students had the opportunity to ask him all types of questions, which ranged from “how long have you been doing your job?” to “do you have any pets?”
In addition to visiting with the fourth grade, Congressman Tonko had a special delivery for the entire school. 35 new books have been added to the Stillwater Elementary Library thanks to Congressman Tonko’s office. The books were hand chosen for Stillwater from the Library of Congress.
The Library of Congress is the largest library in the world and serves as the research arm of Congress.
Thank you, Congressman Tonko!
