The girls varsity basketball team is headed to the Class C Championships after their 57-33 victory over Berne-Knox-Westerlo in the semifinals on Tuesday, March 4.

“I’m so proud of us right now,” senior Miranda Price said. “We put in 100% every single day at practice and in games and it really shows off.”

Coach Cassidy Chapko shared Price’s excitement, stating “I’m just so happy that they’re finally getting the chance to play for a sectional championship.”

Stillwater will play against Greenwich in the championship game on Saturday, March 8 at 2:30 p.m. at Hudson Valley Community College. Tickets for the game can be purchased here and are required for entry. Children 12 and under are free. Please note that no cash tickets will be sold at the door.
