On Friday, June 1, five Stillwater track and field athletes qualified to represent Stillwater and Section 2 at the NYS Track & Field Championships in North Syracuse on June 8 and 9.

Senior Madison Krochina will make her fifth trip to the state meet with wins in the shot put and discus.

The 4×400 meter relay team consisting of senior captain Faith Sheehan and sophomores Avery Hebert, Kyleigh Frank and Brooke Pickett is also headed to the state meet. The team beat Scotia-Glenville to capture first in a school record time of 4:06.81.
