A note to parents/guardians of graduating seniors

Dear Parents/Guardians of graduating seniors,

Below is a list of important upcoming dates for the Class of 2018 and their graduation activities. To ensure that these events are successful, your cooperation and participation in the following is appreciated:

SENIOR PICNIC/BBQ

Friday, June 8 from 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Brown’s Beach, rain or shine.
Seniors should plan on attending school at the normal 7:30 a.m. start time. Bus transportation will be provided to Brown's Beach for those who need it.

BACCALAUREATE SERVICE

Tuesday, June 19 at 6 p.m. – Stillwater United Church, 747 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater
This is a traditional, non-mandatory, non-denominational service. Parents and family members are strongly encouraged to attend this service. A reception will follow.

GRADUATION REHEARSAL and elementary walk through

Wednesday, June 20 at 11 a.m. in the High School Auditorium
Attendance at rehearsal is mandatory. Caps and gowns will be distributed at the rehearsal only. We will not transport caps and gowns to the City Center.
12 p.m. – Walk through elementary school with caps/gowns

VO-TECH STUDENTS

Pick up caps and gowns in the High School Office on Thursday, June 14. The Myers Center will be holding their graduation ceremony on Monday, June 18 at 7 p.m. at the City Center in Saratoga.

GRADUATION

Saturday, June 23 at 3 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs City Center
Tickets are not necessary. Seating is not limited. There will be no admittance into the auditorium before 2 p.m.

  • 2 p.m. – Graduates will assemble in the conference room of the City Center.
  • 3 p.m. – Graduation ceremony will begin.
  • Appropriate attire is required: boys -- long pants, appropriate shirt and shoes; girls -- dress or skirt/pants with appropriate top and shoes. No sneakers.
