A note to parents/guardians of graduating seniors

Dear Parents/Guardians of graduating seniors,

Below is a list of important upcoming dates for the Class of 2017 and their graduation activities. To ensure that these events are successful, your cooperation and participation in the following is appreciated:

  • Friday, June 9 – Brown’s Beach 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., rain or shine

Seniors should plan on attending school at the normal 7:30 a.m. start time. Bus transportation will be provided for those who need it to attend the picnic/BBQ.

  • Wednesday, June 21 at 6 p.m. -- All Saints on the Hudson North; 881 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater

 This is a traditional, non-mandatory, non-denominational service. Parents and family members are strongly encouraged to attend this service. A reception will follow.

  • Wednesday, June 21 at 11 a.m. in the High School Auditorium

Attendance at rehearsal is mandatory. Caps and gowns will ONLY be distributed to students at the rehearsal. Students are responsible for bringing their caps and gowns to the City Center on Saturday.

  • Saturday, June 24 at 3 p.m. at the Saratoga Springs City Center. Tickets are not necessary. Seating is not limited. There will be no admittance into the auditorium before 2 p.m.
  • 2 p.m. – Graduates will assemble in the conference room of the City Center
  • 3 p.m. – Graduation ceremony will begin

Appropriate attire is required: boys -- long pants, appropriate shirt and shoes; girls -- dress or skirt/pants with appropriate top and shoes. No sneakers.


VO-TECH students can pick up their caps and gowns in the High School Office on Tuesday, June 13. The Myers Center will be holding their graduation ceremony on June 15 at the City Center in Saratoga.
