Board approves preliminary Smart Schools Investment Plan

Oct. 19, 2016 – On Tuesday, October 18 the Stillwater Board of Education approved the preliminary Smart Schools Investment Plan for our district. The preliminary investment plan is available here for you to view.

The Smart Schools Bond Act of 2014 authorized the issuance of $2 billion of general obligation bonds to finance improved educational technology and infrastructure to improve learning and opportunity for students throughout the State.

A public hearing on the preliminary plan will be held at the board of education meeting on Tuesday, December 13.
