Sept. 27, 2016 – The Stillwater Board of Education is
preparing to finalize the scope of a capital project to be put up for a
vote later this fall.
On Tuesday, October 4 at 6 p.m. in the MS/HS Library Media Center the Board of Education will hear from the district's financial advisers regarding the project. The public is encouraged to attend. There will also be an opportunity to give feedback.
Currently under consideration is a $23 million capital bond project that would include renovations to the transportation building, the MS/HS auditorium wing, and the elementary school.
The majority of the project is “aid-able,” meaning the district would receive money back from the state on a portion of the work.
