Help Stillwater CSD win $2500 grant to start new writing club

June 6, 2016 – A Stillwater ELA teacher, Mrs. Prescott, is hoping to start a new club called Independence Writers for middle and high school students and we NEED YOUR HELP in getting it started!

Independence Writers is a proposed club for the 2016-2017 school year. Middle and high school students will collaborate with Stillwater historians and engage in primary source research to uncover compelling local facts. Our unique history will come to life as students engage in research tasks and work through all phases of the writing process with Mrs. Prescott. The goal for this club is to promote community pride and student engagement through the publication of our very own historical narrative.

Your vote during the month of June could help Stillwater Central School District receive a $2,500 grant!

To vote for the proposal, visit:

Search for the proposal by teacher - Prescott

You must enter a valid email address and then confirm your vote by clicking on a link. You are allowed to vote once per day! The more votes a proposal receives, the better our chances to receive funding! Thanks for your help in giving Stillwater’s rich history a voice!
