After-school STEM enrichment courses available to students in grades 2-5

Jan. 30, 2013 – Stillwater is once again offering an after-school STEM Enrichment Academy through WSWHE BOCES this spring. New this year, students in grades 2-3 are eligible to participate! Sessions are open to students in grades 2-5.

The Spring 2013 Session will be held on Wednesdays after school starting Feb. 27 and running for six weeks. The cost for each course is $20 per student. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis*. The registration deadline is Feb. 15, 2013.

*Typically, there are 20 available slots per session, but there is a cap of 12 students for the grades 2-3 chemistry class. With this said, parents of second- and third-grade students should initially sign their child up for one session, but make a note on the registration form if their child is interested in a second or third session, space permitting. Parents of students in grades 4-5 are encouraged to sign their child up for multiple sessions since there are 20 spots available per class.
