Students research, ask questions of personal interest

Carrie Woerner talks with students on Oct. 10
Tony Jordan talks with students on Oct. 11

Oct. 15, 2012 – Participation in Government students recently had the opportunity to interview Carrie Woerner and Tony Jordan, the two candidates seeking to represent the 113th District in the New York State Assembly.

Students asked Jordan and Woerner questions on a variety of political issues that interest them, such as raising the minimum wage, creating jobs in our area, and lowering gas prices. This is the first step of a three-part project that focuses on researching local and presidential candidates, analyzing where they stand on certain issues, and presenting their findings.
