Attention sophomores: Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School Information Night on Nov. 15

Register for information session by Nov. 12

Updated Nov. 5, 2012 — The Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School Program is seeking new 11th-grade students for the 2013-14 school year. Current Stillwater sophomores are invited to learn more about the program from 6:30-8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15. The information session will be held on Hudson Valley Community College's TEC-SMART Campus, 345 Hermes Road, Malta, NY 12020. Register to attend the information session by Nov. 12, 2012.

At the session, students currently enrolled in the program will talk about how their coursework is preparing them for the demands of college and 21st century careers. download flyer for more information (PDF)

This year, 70 students from 12 area school districts, including Stillwater, were accepted into the new Clean Technologies & Sustainable Industries Early College High School, the second year of a collaboration between Ballston Spa Central School District and Hudson Valley Community College. Students in grades 11-12 are co-enrolled in high school and college classes, such as Introduction to Wind Power and Photovoltaic Systems Theory and Design.
